Safe Bus is firmly committed to the security and protection of personal information of our Users and their contacts. This Privacy Policy describes how Safe Bus will collect, use, share and process personal information.
By accepting the Safe Bus Privacy Policy and/or using the Services You consent to the collection, use, sharing and processing of personal information as described herein. If You provide us with personal information about someone else, you confirm that they are aware that You have provided their information and that they consent to our use of their information according to our Privacy Policy. You may opt-out at any time to prevent further use of the information shared via the Services.
1. PERSONAL INFORMATION COLLECTED
1.1 EMAIL ADDRESS
When you use the application for the first time, the application collects data about your registered email address on your phone, and then identifies that email as one of the parents' email for the student whose passcode and password you entered when you started the application.
1.2 USER LOCATION
The application has maps that you can use to locate your children as they move to and from the school. Each time you open the map, the application automatically collects data about your current location as a mandatory procedure built into any map system.
2. USE OF PERSONAL INFORMATION
The Safe Bus application currently uses email address data only to identify parents for each student who are authorized to track the school buses of their children as they move to and from schools.
In the future, parents' email addresses may be used to send periodic school alerts or reports on child movements by school buses.
The current location of the parent, which is collected when the map is opened, is not used in any form in the Safe Bus application.
3. SHARING AND DISCLOSURE OF PERSONAL INFORMATION
The Safe Bus application does not disclose or share the parents' email data or the current location of the parents with any party at all.
